Generally speaking, the protection level of LED outdoor display screen produced by LED display screen manufacturers is IP65, and some special installation environments require the protection level to reach IP68. Five protection measures for LED outdoor electronic screen
1. High brightness lamp beads
In the daytime, the brightness of direct sunlight is about 2000cd-3000cd, while the brightness of LED indoor display screen is generally about 1200cd. If the LED electronic large screen with this brightness is installed outdoors, the content on the display screen can’t be seen in the daytime. Therefore, in order to meet the different weather conditions, the LED display should still be able to play with high brightness. In order to meet this requirement, the brightness of outdoor LED electronic large screen produced by LED display manufacturers should reach more than 5000cd, and even the brightness of some displays can reach tens of thousands of levels. Moreover, the brightness of the screen can be automatically adjusted according to the brightness of the surrounding environment, so as to meet the viewing clarity requirements of different distances and different times. Moreover, the perspective of this kind of lamp bead is relatively wide, and the horizontal and vertical perspectives can reach about 120-160 degrees, so as to meet the needs of users from different angles, and its coverage is wide.
2. Circuit chip
Different installation environments have different requirements for the working temperature and humidity of LED electronic large screen. For example, the temperature in southern China is generally between – 10 ℃ and 40 ℃, and the humidity is 10% – 70%. The working environment temperature of LED electronic large screen produced by LED display manufacturers is – 10 ℃ – 50 ℃, and the humidity is 10% – 90%, which can meet the working temperature requirements. But for example, in some areas of Northeast China, the temperature in winter can reach more than ten degrees below zero or even more than twenty degrees. Therefore, when choosing circuit chips, LED display manufacturers must choose industrial chips with working temperature between minus 40 ℃ and 80 ℃. Avoid the LED display can not be started due to the low temperature.
3. Waterproof, dustproof and moistureproof
LED display manufacturers in the production of LED outdoor display, will be in the module of the PCB board for glue, in order to prevent water vapor and dust into the lamp bead inside, to avoid module short circuit. Waterproof box is also widely used in the box. Seamless connection should be made between the box and the box, and between the screen and the stressed installation object. Glue should be used in the places with gaps to avoid water leakage and moisture. Drainage and ventilation measures should be taken in the interior of the screen. If there is water in the interior, the drainage channel can be used for rapid drainage.
4. Lightning protection measures
Rainy days may be accompanied by thunder, especially in the rainy season, in order to avoid the strong electromagnetic attack caused by lightning on LED electronic large screen. When the LED electronic large screen is installed, the grounding measures must be taken on the screen body and the outer packaging protective layer, and the resistance of the grounding line should be less than 3 Ω, so as to avoid the current caused by thunder and drain it from the ground wire in time.
5. Ventilation measures
Any electronic device will generate heat after using for a certain period of time, and the LED electronic large screen is no exception. The larger the screen area is, the greater the power is, and the more heat is generated. If the heat can not be discharged in time, when it accumulates to a certain extent, it will cause the internal environment temperature to be too high and affect the normal work of the screen circuit. Serious or even lead to short circuit and fire inside the screen, resulting in the display can not work properly. Therefore, the internal ventilation and heat dissipation measures must be taken for LED display screen, and the internal ambient temperature should be kept between 0 ℃ and 40 ℃. The cooling equipment can be installed by air conditioning or large fans and other equipment for cooling.
