How to inspect LED electronic display unit board

LED electronic display is a very important part of the LED unit board, if there is a problem with the unit board, it will directly affect the overall quality of the LED electronic screen! 1、 Material
1. LED unit board
In order to compete at low price, some LED unit board manufacturers use cheap flame-retardant paper board or single-sided fiberboard as PCB of LED lamp. Because all fiberglass PCB is very expensive. At the beginning, there is no difference. Generally, the LED unit board will be broken in less than a year due to moisture, UV damage, oxidation and other reasons, resulting in the waste of the whole LED unit board. High quality LED unit board must use double-sided all glass fiber PCB board, although the cost is high, but the quality is guaranteed.
2. IC devices
Observe whether the brands of IC devices used are consistent. What type of IC to use and how many ICs to use are enough to affect the quality of LED unit board. Some LED electronic screen manufacturers, in order to save costs, will deliberately reduce the number of IC in the production of cell board, or mix other brands of IC.
3. Lamp beads and chips:
The naked eye can’t tell the quality of a lamp bead. It can only be tested for a long time, which is what experts call aging test. The general method of LED electronic screen manufacturers is: power on before leaving the factory, check whether the LED electronic screen can operate normally, it will not go through a long time of aging test. Because there are time cost and labor cost.
2、 Welding quality
Check if there is burr or missing pin sticking of components. Check whether the straight plug-in solder joint is smooth and round, whether the board surface is clean and tidy, and whether there is no false or missing welding. Check the uniformity of the insertion flatness and ink color of the luminous dot matrix.
3、 Power on test
Power on test (refer to the steps of “performance test report”):
① Power on to test the consistency of the light-emitting lattice;
② Power on test whether the cem4953 is effectively protected;
③ Power on to test signal transmission capability.
