Unit board is one of the core components of LED display. The quality of unit board directly affects the display effect. The unit board is composed of LED module, driver chip and PCB circuit board.

Indoor brightness: refers to the brightness of LED light-emitting points. The indoor brightness is suitable for the environment that needs to be illuminated by fluorescent lamps during the day. Color: single red, the most commonly used and the cheapest. Two colors generally refer to red and green, and the price is high. If you want to make a 128×16 point screen, you only need to connect two unit boards in series.
Power Supply
The power supply generally uses switching power supply, 220V input and 5V DC output. It should be pointed out that since the LED display screen belongs to precision electronic equipment, switching power supply should be used instead of transformer. For a single red indoor 64×16 unit board, when it is fully lit, the current is 2A. It is inferred that when the 128×16 two-color screen is fully lit, the current is 8A. 5v10a switching power supply should be selected.
Control card
It is recommended to use a low-cost strip screen control card, which can control the 256×16 point two-color screen scanned by 1 / 16, and can assemble the most cost-effective LED screen. The control card belongs to asynchronous card, that is, the card can save information without power off, and the information stored in it can be displayed without connecting to PC.
When purchasing unit boards, please ask for clear parameters. 100% compatible unit boards include: 08 interface 4.75mm point distance 64 point width x16 point height, 1 / 16 indoor brightness. Single red / red green dual color 08 interface 7.62mm point distance 64 points wide x 16 points high, 1 / 16 sweep indoor brightness. Single red / red green two-color 08 interface 7.62mm point distance 64 points wide x 16 points high, 1 / 16 sweep half outdoor brightness.
Connect
It is divided into data line, transmission line and power line. The data line is used to connect the control card and the LED unit board, and the transmission line is used to connect the control card and the computer. The power cord is used to connect the power supply and control card, power supply and LED unit board. The copper core diameter of the power line connecting the unit board shall not be less than 1mm (mm).
