There are 256 kinds of brightness changes from black to white, and RGB color can be used to form 256 × 256 × 256 = 16.777.216 colors; international brand LED display screen is the first choice of 10 processing system, that is, 1024 gray level, and RGB color can form 1.07 billion colors; some domestic control system suppliers call 4096 gray level or 16384 gray level or higher refers to the gray space size after nonlinear change;
4096 level is a non-linear change from 8-bit source to 12 bit space, 16384 is the choice of 8-bit to 16 bit non-linear change skill; 8-bit source is used for non-linear change. After the change, the space must be larger than 8-bit source, usually it is at least 10 bits; it seems that the gray level is the same. The larger the better, usually 12 can meet the change.
