HDR full name is high dynamic range, namely high dynamic range image technology. This technology was first used in photography. When HDR is turned on in the process of photographing, the original dark scene can become brighter and more transparent. What can HDR bring
Take television, for example. The range of brightness that traditional TV can display is very limited, which is far from the range that human eyes can perceive. The reason is that the brightness of traditional TV can’t be improved in the bright part of the picture, and it can’t be dimmed in the dark part. This leads to the poor sense of hierarchy and the loss of a lot of details.
HDR super quality display technology can perfectly solve this problem. HDR is relative to the mainstream SDR on the market
1080p display technology, with higher pixel load: 3840 × 2160; wider gamut range: bt2020. The same picture can display more color information and more image details. At the same time, with more advanced electro-optic conversion technology, it improves the light and dark contrast of the picture in an all-round way, so that a picture can show the most real appearance in an all-round way.

In the LED display industry, Novartis is the first to make a video processing device supporting HDR film source analysis, which promotes the LED display into the HDR era.
HDR images show more details of light and dark parts. In human eyes, the picture is fuller and the color transition is smoother.
As a leader in the image processing industry, Sony announced the standard of ultra high definition image quality, which includes five dimensions: resolution, color depth, gamut, contrast and frame rate.
Ultra high definition Blu ray standard requires a resolution of 4K, a color depth of 10bit, a color gamut of bt.2020, a contrast of HDR, and a frame rate of 60fps.
According to the high definition Blu ray standard, the color depth is 10bit, that is, it can display 1.07 billion colors.
Each color in 6qi0 RGB has 10 power of 2, which is 1024 levels. There are more than 1024.7 × 10.4 million RGB colors.
